Of every rise, they say,
Beware, for it precedes a fall
But this one hit came
Without any premonition at all
The eagle was strong, majestic
He had mastered the sky
Many a dip, but he soared again
For he knew how to fly
No thunder, no storm
Could stop his flight
For he had the knack
To give the forces of nature, a tough fight
But then came a prey
So easy, a fling
A bait of fate
That clipped his wing
If only somehow
Those feathers regrew
He'd take a flight
In a direction anew
Beware, for it precedes a fall
But this one hit came
Without any premonition at all
The eagle was strong, majestic
He had mastered the sky
Many a dip, but he soared again
For he knew how to fly
No thunder, no storm
Could stop his flight
For he had the knack
To give the forces of nature, a tough fight
But then came a prey
So easy, a fling
A bait of fate
That clipped his wing
If only somehow
Those feathers regrew
He'd take a flight
In a direction anew
