Yet Again

All eyes have laid to rest until tomorrow dawns
The night has cast her spell
And while every soul has gone into their bunk
Those buried thoughts, they emerge from their shell

Like many a night, again, seated by the window
I think of you...revisiting...revelling
Each moment festered a spark in my heart
Each day, it grew stronger, this feeling

I know the truth, love bites
It takes every bit of you
But a love like this is to die for
For I know more...love heals too

The littlest of their joys, they amplify yours
The smallest of fears, evaporate
Our vision turns rose-tinted
The world around, seems less filled with hate

That love, the kind that elevates
Where the lover wants to serve love better
Each day, more than yesterday
Nurture her love, brighter, stronger

It's that undying, pure, love
That injects tints and hues into a dying grey
Oh, I would die to live each day
That kind of love, that I live today
